“Excellent option to eat if you want an authentic Cretan food experience. Everything was above my expectations: food, ambiance, staff and all around atmosphere. Located in the center of the city, yet not in a crowed area, To Potiraki was not the place my family and I took a great lunch, but a place will surely revisit. The staff was warm, the menu not so big, but covering enough dishes to have variety on the plateau. I liked that they have a standard menu and Dishes of the Day, with pretty accesible prices. Regarding prices, you can eat in the center of Agios Nikolaos with lower prices than taverns near lake, only at 3 minutes walking. The food was super tasty, big portions and, at the end, the desert war free (pana cotta and fruits). The staff and the owner was really friendly and, at the end, we shake hands like old friends. Highly recommend it for families.”
