Attended here with my partner as saw the large number of reviews. Food didn’t disappoint and was very good value, the wine came with a couple snack sized dishes to begin with. Overall very impressed
So as for me the place overrated. Located in a good place near the road, locals was sitting there which is good.Greek salad and squids was good, pasta is not italian style, more on greek taste I guess. A lot of dry oregano or whatever it was. We also had Mussels, for me was 1/10, haven’t ate themGrilled fish was good, BUT in my case fish was not cleaned well inside, I tried clean with fork inside as much as I could, my first bite from ribs area was disgusting and bitter. But I knew that I need to leave all that area. Rest of the fish was ok.Prices reasonable for that, but for mussels I wouldn’t pay any cent.Boys who served us was very friendly and polite!
By far the cheapest place we’ve eaten in the area but the food quality still was really high. Souvlaki skewers for €2 each, huge salad bowls for €5.50. Three of us ate (and actually had too much food really) for €27The view is non-existant since this place sits opposite a pharmacy rather than overlooking the lake or port, but if you’re looking for somewhere cheap and delicious I would highly recommend stopping off hereThere is parking nearby
Tasty tapas style Greek dishes makes it easier to try out a few things even if in small groups. The ntakos, chorta and grilled chicken were super tasty. The restaurant gets very busy during the evening so the earlier you go the better chances to find a table
We are so happy for being back to Potiraki as our main dinner base, after we were amongst the first ones in 2021st to discover this gem and suggest it to many Trip Advisor users who later proved that it’s one of the best restaurants in Lasithi area! Seeing the place full and even better than 3 years ago made our hearts full! Out of 7 nights we’ve spent in restaurants 3 were in Potiraki, can’t decide which meal was better than the other, can’t decide which waiter was more polite, every time we left the place with our jaws dropped and stomachs full! All praises to the owner for smiling every time when he saw us and finding a place to sit, you have a beautiful, beautiful heart knitted in every segment of your beautiful restaurant and that’s why everything is so special! 🥰 Thank you for making us happy with your meals and see you next summer! 🥹❤️Ps: If we can have one wish for a better 2025th – please bring back those amazing vinegar sausages. 😁
